Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our Northampton Pineham site (NN4 9FJ). The role is full-time and permanent, offering a 37.5-hour work week for Toolstation. You will work across several shift patterns, including early, late, and rotating schedules.

Benefits include annual salary £25,876.50–£31,297.50 with overtime paid at 1.5x, 28 days leave, free onsite gym and parking, a company pension, and access to GXO University for training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using handheld scanners.

• Prepare goods for dispatch, label, sort and pack stock.
• Load and unload goods and move stock safely around the warehouse.
• Complete basic stock checks and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.

Job description

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a change? Or maybe looking for an opportunity to get into logistics? Whatever the reason we, could have the role for you.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Northampton Pineham (NN4 9FJ) working 37.5 hours per week for our customer Toolstation.

We have the following shifts available:

• Monday- Friday 06:00-14:00


• Monday- Friday 14:00 -22:00


• Monday- Friday or Sunday- Thursday on 07:00-15:00


• Monday- Friday or Sunday- Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday 15:0 0-23:00


• Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (on two weeks rotation)

What you will do on a typical day:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately, using handheld scanners and warehouse system


• Checking products and orders for accuracy


• Preparing goods for dispatch, labelling, sorting and packing stock


• Loading and unloading goods when required and moving stock safely around the warehouse


• Completing basic stock checks and documentation


• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment and following all site health and safety procedures

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Ideally- Experience of driving MHE – LLOP, MLOP and reach truck


• Previous warehouse experience and the ability to complete manual handling duties


• Good ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.


• The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment


• Good communication and teamwork skills, with excellent attention to detail
