Job summary

Attega Group Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Horsham to support the warehouse team with day-to-day operations. You’ll ensure stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched in a full-time, permanent role offering a salary up to £26,000 depending on experience.

Benefits include 22 days annual leave (25 with service), on-site parking, a company pension and early finish Fridays. Hours: Mon-Thu 8:30am–5:00pm; Fri 8:30am–4:15pm.

Qualifications

• Must have some experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
• Will need a good understanding of inventory/stock control processes.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Will have good organisation and time management skills.
• If you have a forklift license or MEWP license, that would be a huge advantage!

Responsibilities

• Inventory control - conducting routine stock checks and ensuring stock is stored accurately
• Goods Inwards - receiving deliveries, checking stock quality, labelling and storing stock correctly
• Picking and Packing - picking customer orders, packaging goods, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Stock Quality - photographing stock and reporting any quality concerns or stock issues

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their team.

The main purpose of this Warehouse Operative role is to support the Warehouse management team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse function, ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.15pm.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
