Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a growing client base. You will start in the packing department and learn the operation from the ground up, gaining knowledge of products and processes.

The role offers a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity, a monthly bonus after three months, full training, and progression opportunities within the business. Location relocation to Stockbridge is planned towards year-end, so candidates with transport are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Book in deliveries and check incoming goods.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Organise and replenish warehouse stock.
• Carry out regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily targets.
• Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Take on additional responsibilities as you develop within the business.

Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join one of our well-established and growing clients.

Please note: Our client is planning to relocate to Stockbridge towards the end of the year. This role is therefore particularly suited to candidates who are based in the Winchester/Andover area or those with their own transport and are happy to travel to the new location.

The Role

You will initially join the business within the packing department, learning the operation from the ground up and gaining a thorough understanding of the company's products and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Booking in deliveries and checking incoming goods.
• Preparing orders for dispatch.

Working Hours

Current location:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-18:00

Following relocation:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00-18:00

Salary & Benefits
