Job summary

C Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Wickford to support daily warehouse operations from receiving to dispatch. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient stock handling within a team environment, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule and a 8:30 am - 5:00 pm shift.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, checking goods, storing items, picking and packing orders, and maintaining records using WMS.

• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control activities.
• Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and free from hazards.
• Follow all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Assist colleagues and managers with other warehouse duties as required.

Warehouse Operative | Wickford | Full Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | £25,000 - £28,000 per annum + Performance Bonus (OTE £27,000 - £31,000)

Our client is a UK joint venture company, equally owned by two globally recognised leaders in process and industrial automation. They manufacture and supply a wide range of sensors and industrial automation products and are highly regarded within the industry for their innovative products and responsiveness to customer needs.

The Role

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently. The role ensures stock is handled safely and warehouse processes are completed in line with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
