Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a Hub 5 Sortation Operative to join our dedicated warehouse team in a permanent full-time role. You will unload, scan, sort and load parcels, ensuring swift and safe movement through the hub while adhering to health and safety standards.

Typical duties include handling up to 25kg parcels, maintaining physical fitness for demanding shifts, and displaying flexibility to operate across warehouse areas as required. This role supports our 365-day operation with training provided.

• Good organisational skills to effectively manage workload and meet operational targets
• Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently under high-pressure situations and strict deadlines

• Physical capacity to lift, load, and carry items weighing up to 25kg on a regular basis
• Some understanding of Health and Safety practices within a warehouse setting would be advantageous

• Shift Pattern / Hours of Work:08:00 - 16:30 (For the first week you will be required to work our night shift starting at 23:00 to learn the operation and will then move onto the day shift)

Job Description

As a Sortation Operative you will find that no two days are the same, with state of the art sortation equipment and all the tools required to do the job, you will be required to unload, scan, sort and load our parcels, ensuring that their journey through our Hub is safe and swift.

This position plays a crucial part in ensuring DPD maintains its commitment to exceptional customer service.
