Job and Person Details

To achieve KPIs and quality levels set by the Line Manager.

Ensure the day-to-day requirements of end-to-end warehouse logistics, from raw materials and goods-in to supply production and dispatch of finished goods to our large customer network.

Responsibilities

1. Intake and unloading of raw materials.
2. Storage of materials in racking.
3. Transport of goods between the warehouse and production environments.
4. Loading of finished goods.
5. Accurate collation of orders to customer requirements.
6. Maintain and control stock in the warehouse.
7. Work to tight schedules to ensure high customer service levels.
8. General housekeeping and adherence to Health & Safety requirements, including Covid protocols.
9. Effective shift handover.
10. Maintain good housekeeping, including 5S auditing.

Communication and Contact

Ensure consideration and good relations are maintained at all times. Liaise and communicate fully with the Line Manager and relevant personnel within the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience using reach and counterbalance trucks is highly desirable.
• Forklift, Reach, or VNA certificate preferred; training can be provided to update.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Substantial experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Flexible and reliable.
• Good attention to detail.
• Computer literate; full training will be given.

Job Details

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule

• Monday - Friday working hours, with seasonal Saturday shifts in May, June & July.
• 12-hour shifts – 6-6 days and 6-6 nights.
• Overtime may be required.
