Job summary

Plumb Centre in Dundee, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to join our busy branch. You will provide a high level of customer service, check goods in, pick and label items, and assist the Operations team to keep the branch running smoothly.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri and one in three Saturdays), a competitive salary with bonus and benefits, and opportunities to develop skills within a supportive team environment.

• Prior warehouse experience.
• Team player who helps in all areas to keep the branch running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials.
• Checking goods-in are delivered correctly against delivery notes and booked into the system.
• Accurately picking and labelling goods booked out to customers and other branches.
• Deputising for the Operations Supervisor or Manager as required.

As an Warehouse Assistant based in Dundee, you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials
• Checking goods-in are correctly delivered against delivery notes and goods are booked in on the system then put away accurately and safely
• Accurately picking and labelling goods booked out to customers and other branches using the system ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed
• Deputising for the Operations Supervisor or Manager as required

This is a full time time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - and and Saturday mornings on a 1/3 rota basis -
