Job summary

Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Bedford to join a well established client. You will be required to work with handheld scanners, pick, pack and prepare shipments for courier collection. Immediate start and must drive due to location.

Join a busy warehouse team and maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines in a physically active role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous experience with handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Use a handheld scanner to pick orders from racking.
• Pack the orders and load onto pallets.
• Read orders from the pick paperwork, with accuracy.
• Prepare pallets and shipments for courier collection and distribution.
• Follow all instructions from Supervisors / managers.
• Work in a safe responsible manner. Follow all H&S instructions.

Location: Bedford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00AM - 20:00PM

Salary: £12.98 an hour, weekly pay

Temporary to Permanent opportunity available

Immediate Start + Must Drive due to location

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Bedford, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Warehouse Operativeto work alongside the team.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Use a handheld scanner to pick orders from racking
• Pack the orders and load onto pallets.
• Read orders from the pick paperwork, with accuracy
• Prepare pallets and shipments for courier collection and distribution
• Follow all instructions from Supervisor / managers
