Job summary

Prinova Global in Aylesford, Kent is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the 2pm–10pm shift, Monday to Friday. You will handle daily dispatch, goods in/out, and production support, following health and safety procedures to ensure smooth operations.

This role involves manual handling and FLT operation. The team values accuracy, reliability, and a proactive, team-focused approach to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Daily dispatch, goods in/out and production picking.
• Maintain tidiness of WH area and safety checks.
• Operate FLT and report defects to supervisor.
• Assist with production daily requirements.
• Coordinate with transport providers for on-time dispatch.

This role is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the warehouse is carried out according to procedures and to work in accordance with health and safety as outlined by the site directive. The role also involves providing support to all internal customers under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, to aid the smooth running of the department. Please note that this role does involve manual handling.

What to expect?

• Maintain a high level of tidiness in the WH area and WH Yard, and remove any hazards or obstructions according to procedure.
• Complete daily requirements, including: Daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, and production picking.
• Assist with production daily requirements.
• Complete any preparation of bulk and part goods for production.
• Follow instructions as requested by the WH Supervisor & Team Leader.
• Ensure daily FLT checks are complete and documented, and report any defects to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all other Warehouse checks are completed as per the rota.
• Arrange for any production waste to be disposed of.
• Assist with the requirements of the sampling room.
• Liaise with Customer Support and outside transport providers to ensure the smooth dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Any other reasonable task as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader and Production Supervisor.
• Work safely and follow all safety requirements.

Does this sound like you?

• Previous Experience using Warehouse equipment: Reach and counterbalance trucks up to 1600Kg, pallet trucks
• Relevant experience within a warehouse environment
• Good communication skills
• Excellent level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25KG) and work on the feet for extended periods
• Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to follow company policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Ability to efficiently prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
• Ability to learn and operate an in-house computer system
• Team player, able to work as part of a team, providing help and support to others both within the department and the organisation as a whole
• Comfortable with lone-working
