Gold Group is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to manage the Basingstoke depot, ensuring stock integrity, spares control and efficient annuity processes. Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain regular operational reports (RMAs, engineer tasks, inventories).
• Provide support to Field Engineering activities as required.
• Coordinate with couriers and vendors and reconcile monthly reports.

Warehouse Operations Specialist

Location: Basingstoke. Salary: £25,000 - £29,000. Start Date: ASAP. Working Pattern: Office-based.

The Role

I am looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Warehouse & Annuity Operations Specialist to join my clients Central Operations team in Basingstoke.

This is a varied operational role with responsibility for managing spares, RMAs, depot operations and annuity processes, while supporting wider service delivery and field engineering activities.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Basingstoke depot, coordinate with couriers and vendors, maintain accurate records and reporting, and ensure operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Warehouse Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Basingstoke depot, ensuring stock, spares and equipment are effectively controlled.
• Take ownership of the spares and RMA process, from initial request through to completion.
• Support annuity contract renewals and quoting processes, developing a strong understanding of procedures and being able to explain them to others.
• Maintain and update Service Desk information, including contracts, adds, moves and changes.
• Complete product registrations and vendor install-base updates.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with courier partners.
• Reconcile monthly reports relating to spares movements.
• Provide operational support to Field Engineering activities when required.
• Assist with reconciliation of Field Engineering service reports.
• Produce and maintain regular operational reports covering areas such as RMAs, engineer tasks, collections, customer inventory, restocking and service incidents.
• Support Service Delivery Managers with reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure operational tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
• Provide cover and support across the wider Central Operations team when required.
• Maintain a consistently high level of customer service.
• Follow company quality, information security and environmental management processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of operational processes.

You will ideally have experience within a warehouse, logistics, service operations, IT services, telecoms, distribution or similar environment.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience managing stock, spares, returns or RMA processes.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence working with operational systems and maintaining records.
• Good Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to coordinate with suppliers, couriers, engineers and internal teams.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team.
• Experience within an IT services, networking, telecoms, reseller or managed services environment would be advantageous.
