Job summary

Dunelm is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a shift-based team in our distribution centre. You will drive safety, quality and service, while managing daily workloads, KPIs and relationships with planning, transport and inventory teams.

You will champion a strong safety culture, develop staff through coaching and performance reviews, and push continuous improvement across the operation to meet performance targets and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in warehouse, distribution or logistics with track record of developing teams.
• Experience managing performance via coaching and feedback.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation in fast-paced operations.
• Excellent planning, organisation and multi-shift capacity planning.
• Commitment to health & safety and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives and supervisors to a high-performing culture.
• Provide direction through briefings, coaching and performance reviews.
• Plan and manage daily workloads to process orders safely and on time.
• Monitor productivity, service and quality metrics and drive improvement.
• Champion safety, conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents.
• Track KPIs, identify trends, and implement performance plans.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through stock checks and discrepancy resolution.
• Build relationships with planning, transport and inventory teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution centre.
• Ensure equipment and processes meet company standards.
