Job summary

FEB Logistics is seeking an organised Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Salford warehouse, managing a team of operatives to ensure safe, accurate and efficient goods handling. You’ll drive improvements, monitor productivity and align with business targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

You will report on operational performance, coordinate stock receipt and dispatch, and help with planning, training and process enhancements in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and stock control.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance management.
• Forklift training licence is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily warehouse operations and activities
• Leading, motivating and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
• Monitoring productivity and making sure operational targets are met
• Coordinating the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
• Keeping stock handling accurate and inventory records up to date
• Carrying out regular stock checks and investigating discrepancies
• Ensuring health and safety regulations and company procedures are followed
• Assisting with workforce planning, scheduling and training
• Finding ways to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
• Reporting operational performance and issues to management
