Job summary

Integra Contracts Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure accurate stock levels, and maintain safety and efficiency across the warehouse. You will lead a team, coordinate inbound/outbound activities, and partner with transport and purchasing to optimise processes.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisation, and practical knowledge of warehouse procedures. A full UK driving licence is essential, with forklift qualification advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience using Microsoft software (Outlook).
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift/FLT qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and duties.
• Coordinate the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and delivery issues.
• Ensure goods are stored safely and efficiently.
• Ensure health and safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
• Coordinate with transport, purchasing, sales and other departments.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, couriers, and transport providers where required.
• Ensure equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and racking is maintained and used safely.
• Plan workload and shift patterns within the warehouse team.
• Carry out basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on warehouse tools, equipment, and facilities.
• Identify faults with tools and equipment, arrange repairs or replacement as needed.
• Oversee occasional site deliveries as required.
