Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods across our UK operations. You will manage people, processes and systems to ensure productivity targets are met while maintaining health and safety and stock security.

You will liaise with customers, suppliers and transport partners, plan capacity, maintain stock records and drive continuous improvement through skilled leadership and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management.
• People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team.
• Team working skills and the ability to plan and organise stock flow.
• Analytical ability with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Initiative and decisiveness; able to work under pressure.
• Technical and IT skills for databases and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Manage people, processes and systems to meet targets and maintain stock control.
• Maintain health and safety standards and security of premises.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies; respond to inquiries by email/phone.
• Plan future capacity requirements and recruit/train staff as needed.
• Organise recruitment and training of staff; monitor performance.
• Motivate and supervise teamwork to meet productivity targets.
• Produce regular reports and statistics; brief team leaders daily.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and security in the work environment.
• Oversee planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.
