Job summary

We are Plumb Centre, a part of the Wolseley Group, seeking an Operations Assistant in Leeds to support warehouse operations and customer service at the branch. The role involves picking/packing, driving a 3.5t van when required, and assisting across the branch to meet customer needs.

The position is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm), with benefits including annual leave, pension, and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Picking/packing goods in warehouse.
• Drive the 3.5t van when required.
• Put away deliveries into allocated areas.
• Assist the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Manual handling and using lifting equipment.
