Job summary

Plumb Centre in Kilmarnock, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring an Operations Assistant. The role is a permanent, full-time position based in Kilmarnock, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm.

You’ll pick/pack in the warehouse, book deliveries and support the branch team to meet customer needs. We offer a competitive salary of £26,695 plus bonus and a benefits package including annual leave, a strong pension scheme, healthcare access, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods for customer orders
• Booking in deliveries and putting stock away
• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met
