Job summary

Distinct Consultancy is seeking a Warehouse Manager at the Chepstow depot. You will lead a 20-strong team, driving day-to-day operations, compliance and continuous improvement in a mid-shift role (4pm-1:30am, Sun-Thu).

The role offers a competitive £44,000-£45,000 salary with private health & dental, 33 days leave, career progression and pension. You’ll champion safety and efficiency in a growing market-leading business.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast moving warehousing environment.
• Proven management experience.
• Ability to plan workloads and meet KPI.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve KPI targets using data interpretation.
• Coach and develop team members to maximise potential.
• Manage resources including MHE, cages, pallets and wrap.
• Allocate work to match capability and drive targets.
• Deliver clear briefings and ensure policy compliance across shifts.
• Promote QHSE and sustainability standards, focusing on safety.
• Investigate quality issues to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure stock is managed to reduce damages and meet customer availability.
