Job summary

Universal Business Team is partnering with a fast-growing healthcare distribution business in Yeovil to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Manager who will own the day-to-day operation.

You’ll lead and motivate a growing warehouse team, oversee goods-in, picking, packing and same-day dispatch, optimise stock flow and develop the warehouse layout.

You’ll build a culture of pace and accuracy, work closely with couriers, and report on KPIs. Salary £45,000 - £55,000 with uncapped progression.

• Solid experience managing warehouse teams in distribution/wholesale.
• Leads from the front and inspires others.
• Organised, proactive, and prides on running a clean, efficient warehouse.
• Comfortable under pressure in a growing SME.
• Customer-focused with fast, accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day warehouse operations including goods-in, picking, packing, and same-day dispatch.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team, setting clear expectations and culture.
• Oversee stock control, replenishment, and layout to improve flow.
• Manage courier relationships and ensure delivery performance.
• Support MHRA and Health & Safety compliance.
• Monitor and report operational KPIs and identify improvements.
• Help build structure and pace across the distribution side.
