Job summary

GXO Logistics in Bristol is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a large operational team on a high-value product site for a major UK retailer. You will report to the General Manager and drive service, safety, productivity and performance across the site.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with flexibility. You will manage budgets, influence continuous improvement and develop a engaged, high-performing team while delivering outstanding customer service.

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Currys site in Bristol. You will be handling high-value customer products for one of the UK's most recognised high street retailers. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll lead a large operational team through your Shift Managers, ensuring exceptional service, safety, productivity, and performance across the site.

You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading transport and warehouse activities, managing budgets, improving processes, and creating an engaged, high-performing culture where people and customers come first.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. Flexibility is required for the role.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). • Lead, coach and develop operational teams to deliver outstanding customer service, site performance, and colleague engagement
• Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Safe Systems of Work, training requirements, and operational audits
• Manage operational budgets, resources, labour planning, and productivity to achieve financial and operational targets
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of operational issues
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and transport operations, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and customer expectations are consistently achieved or exceeded

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven leadership experience within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operation.
• Strong understanding of operational performance management, resource planning, and budget control
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop high-performing teams
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, compliance requirements, and safe working practices within a logistics environment
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-moving operational setting
