About the Role:

A well-established manufacturer of high-quality bespoke metalwork is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse/Logistics Manager to oversee and streamline its supply chain, transport, and warehouse operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong logistics background in manufacturing to join a skilled and dedicated team in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including deliveries, collections, and inventory management.

Manage relationships with couriers, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize transport efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.

Coordinate material flow in line with production schedules, maintaining accurate stock levels.

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, customs regulations, and transport legislation.

Utilize logistics software/ERP systems to monitor performance, generate reports, and support planning.

Lead and support warehouse and logistics staff to achieve operational targets.

Liaise with internal departments and external clients to coordinate urgent or bespoke deliveries.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior logistics role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of warehouse, transportation, and supply chain management.

Experience using ERP or inventory control systems.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.

Full UK driving licence (required); Forklift licence (desirable).

Competitive salary up to £40,000, depending on experience
