Who are TPS?

As part of the Volkswagen Group, TPS includes brands such as Audi, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our expanding TPS business. Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Warehouse Manager will oversee an effective and efficient warehouse, managing the team to deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining high stock integrity through efficient management and implementing TPS warehouse processes to ensure full audit traceability.

Essential Skills

Warehouse and Sales Performance

• Set and monitor performance targets for Warehouse Operatives and Van Drivers.
• Review targets regularly with the TPS Centre Manager and take corrective actions as needed.

Managing the Team

• Conduct regular 1:1 performance reviews, monitor KPIs, and provide developmental support.
• Motivate and recognize the team through appropriate rewards and bonuses in collaboration with the Centre Manager.

Customer Service

• Ensure high service levels by adhering to warehouse processes and procedures.
• Monitor delivery schedules with the management team to maintain and improve service standards.
• Present a professional image to customers consistent with TPS standards.

Managing Stock

• Check inbound stock, allocate locations, and report anomalies or damages immediately.
• Control stock movements out of the building, preventing unauthorized removal.
• Maintain accurate stock inventory and ensure stock is secure and in good condition.
• Conduct daily inventory checks and support stock audits.
• Handle returns according to TPS process guidelines.

Managing Deliveries

• Ensure accurate and prompt order picking and dispatch.
• Report delivery anomalies to the Sales Team.
• Maintain visibility of delivery vans' locations for operational efficiency.

Systems and Processes

• Follow health and safety regulations, especially Manual Handling.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Comply with business processes and guidelines, including warranty procedures.
• Handle exchange units, cash, and cheques securely according to guidelines.
