DPD UK is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Operative for our Tamworth site. This full-time role covers 40 hours per week on a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends.

You will play a key part in our fast-paced logistics operation, loading, unloading, picking and packing parcels, and using MHE and WMS. DPD offers training from day one, uniform and PPE, and a benefits package focused on wellbeing and career progression.

Responsabilités

• Loading and unloading, scanning, picking and packing parcels, including handling items up to 25kg.
• Using our tech and WMS to ensure every parcel gets to the right place, checking paperwork matches physical delivery
• Transfer of goods to suitable storage, carrying out replenishment tasks, and highlighting any discrepancies
• Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Counter Balance, Flexi Trucks and Man Riders
• Comply with Health, Safety and Security policies, communicating with customers, suppliers and third party hauliers
• You’ll receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE

Job Description

• Contract Type:Permanent / 40hours per week
• Salary:£30,995- increasing to £32,495 on completion of relevant MHEtraining
• Hours of Work:Mon - Fri 16:30 - 01:00 - Sat & Sun - 15:00 - 23:30
• Days of Work: 5 days per week

DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Warehouse Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;
