Job summary

DPD is hiring Warehouse Logistic Operatives at Oldbury. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 40-hour week, 16:30 to 01:00 shifts, five days. You will join a team at a fast-paced fulfilment site, performing loading, unloading, picking and packing while using MHE tools.

Full training and uniform/PPE provided, with opportunities for progression within the company. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with health, lifestyle, and employee discount benefits

Job Description

• Contract Type:Permanent / 40hours per week
• Salary:£30,995 - increasing to £32,495 on completion of relevant MHE training
• Hours of Work:16:30 - 01:00
• Days of Work: 5 days per week

DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Warehouse Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;

• Loading and unloading, scanning, picking and packing parcels with precision.
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!).
• Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
• Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) toincluding Counter Balance, Flexi Trucks and Man Riders
