Job summary

Win Berry in Yeovil, Somerset, is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to own the full logistics journey from factory to customer. This new role leads Stores, Warehouse, Finished Goods, Despatch, Freight and International Logistics under one plan and accountable leadership.

You’ll drive improvement of stock control, OTIF delivery, cost reduction and KPI implementation, partnering with freight forwarders and partners to scale operations in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply chain within manufacturing, engineering, machinery or capital equipment environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve operations.
• International freight/export experience advantageous.

Ready to take ownership of the entire journey from factory to customer?

I'm delighted to be working with a growing international engineering business to recruit a newly created Warehouse & Logistics Manager position.

This is far more than a traditional Warehouse Manager role.

You'll take overall ownership of Stores, Warehouse, Finished Goods, Despatch, Freight and International Logistics, bringing the operation together under one clear plan and one accountable leader.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead and develop the Stores & Despatch teams
• Improve warehouse organisation, stock control and efficiency
• Take ownership of international freight and container logistics
• Manage freight forwarders, hauliers and logistics partners
• Improve OTIF delivery and shipment visibility
• Reduce handling, errors and logistics costs

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse, Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain professional, ideally from a manufacturing, engineering, machinery, capital equipment or complex product environment.

International export and freight experience would be highly advantageous.

This is a role for someone who wants to build something better not simply manage what already exists.
