Job summary

Win Berry in Yeovil is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Manager to own the entire journey from factory to customer. The role leads Stores, Warehouse, Despatch and International Logistics, delivering a cohesive plan under one accountable leader.

You will drive improvements in organisation, stock control and freight management, including international export readiness and KPI-driven performance. This is a strategic hands-on role in a growing engineering business in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
• Hands-on leader capable of implementing improvements and KPIs.
• Experience with international export and freight is advantageous.
• Ability to build structure and processes to improve OTIF and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Stores & Despatch teams.
• Improve warehouse organisation, stock control and efficiency.
• Take ownership of international freight and container logistics.
• Manage freight forwarders, hauliers and logistics partners.
• Improve OTIF delivery and shipment visibility.
• Reduce handling, errors and logistics costs.

I'm delighted to be working with a growing international engineering business to recruit a newly created Warehouse & Logistics Manager position.

This is far more than a traditional Warehouse Manager role.

You'll take overall ownership of Stores, Warehouse, Finished Goods, Despatch, Freight and International Logistics, bringing the operation together under one clear plan and one accountable leader.

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse, Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain professional, ideally from a manufacturing, engineering, machinery, capital equipment or complex product environment.

International export and freight experience would be highly advantageous.

This is a role for someone who wants to build something better not simply manage what already exists.
