Role: Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Start: ASAP

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Location: Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom

Reports to: Operations Director

We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee the movement of our beer from brewery to bar — safely, efficiently, and with excellence.

The role:

As our Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will ensure the smooth, effective, and safe storage and delivery of our products. Your responsibilities include leading a team, optimizing routes, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff and drivers
• Oversee stock control, ensuring accurate FIFO practices and inventory management (Breww)
• Plan and optimize delivery routes across Preston and Lancashire
• Manage third-party contractors and shipping partners
• Ensure health & safety compliance and equipment maintenance
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Conduct weekly stock counts and monitor out-of-stock risks
• Collaborate with HR for team development
• Improve processes and drive performance using KPIs

About you:

You are an organized, adaptable leader who thrives under operational challenges. You are hands-on, calm under pressure, and proficient with IT systems.
