Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Hull facility. This role leads warehousing operations, ensures accurate stock control, and drives safety, cost savings and continuous improvement across the department.

Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team across shifts in a unionised environment, ensuring OTIF delivery and robust operational controls while supporting broader business objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Warehousing and Logistics.
• Experience in a Warehouse or Logistics Management position.
• IOSH Managing Safely or Level 3 Health & Safety qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience managing large teams across multiple shift patterns.
• Strong KPI management and performance reporting experience.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the warehouse, stores, yards and recycling operations.
• Manage stock control processes, daily stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely supply of materials to production through planning and execution of the 4-hour plan.
• Drive OTIF performance across warehouse operations.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team through coaching and performance management.
• Deliver daily operational cockpit meetings to review priorities and performance.
• Manage pallet, crate and hire equipment contracts for cost-effective supply.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, especially around recycling and waste reduction.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, environmental and ethical standards.
