Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager for a food manufacturer. You will lead and develop teams across three warehouses, modelling strong leadership on the shop floor while collaborating with operations and engineering to hit KPIs and OTIF targets.

The role is days-based, Monday to Friday, with occasional shift coverage to support and coach your team. Manage inbound, internal, and outbound movement of ingredients and products, drive engagement through training, and actively seek

Qualifications

• An experienced Warehouse Manager, ideally from a food manufacturing or FMCG background, who can achieve KPIs and knows how a well run warehouse should operate.
• Strong people skills, somebody who enjoys leading and developing people.
• A 'hands on' manager who can think strategically but still enjoys spending time on the shop floor.
• Flexible in approach, willing to support colleagues across the business even if it is outside your usual remit.
• Good practical knowledge of stock control, Health & Safety, and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team across three warehouses, while working in partnership with colleagues in operations and engineering, to ensure KPIs and OTIF targets are achieved.
• Managing the inbound, internal, and outbound movement of ingredients, materials, and products.
• Building your team's skills through coaching and training and working closely with them to drive engagement.
• Maintaining a visible presence across the site, supporting your team when unexpected challenges arise.
• Focusing on opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and work more efficiently.
