MorePeople seeks a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Director to lead multi-site operations in Lincolnshire, shaping the next growth phase. You’ll sit on the board, report to the MD, and drive capacity, efficiency and customer service across warehousing and transport.

You will own systems implementations, build high-performing teams, and foster a safety-conscious, service-driven culture while partnering with the MD and board.

Warehouse & Logistics Director | Food

After significant investment and expansion, they're looking to strengthen their leadership team by appointing a Warehouse & Logistics Director. This business-critical role will sit on the board, report directly to the Managing Director, and play a pivotal part in shaping the next phase of growth.

They're looking for a visible, hands-on leader who can immerse themselves in the operation, build strong relationships with their teams, challenge the status quo, and help create a scalable operation capable of supporting continued growth.

The Opportunity

This is a multi-site leadership opportunity within a growing food business where you'll have full responsibility for warehouse, logistics and transport operations.

You’ll inherit an established management structure and lead a sizeable operation, but the real opportunity lies in helping the business prepare for its next chapter. Whether that’s increasing operational capacity, commissioning new facilities, implementing new systems, improving customer service, or developing future leaders within the business, you’ll be at the heart of it.

The successful individual will work closely with the Managing Director and wider board to help shape operational strategy while maintaining a strong presence within the operation itself.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Leading warehouse and transport operations across multiple sites.
• Developing and implementing operational growth strategies. Driving warehouse capacity, efficiency and service improvements.
• Leading systems implementation and technology integration projects.
• Building high-performing teams through coaching, development and succession planning.
• Strengthening customer relationships and supporting a service-driven culture.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and transport functions.
• Championing Health & Safety, Food Safety and regulatory compliance across the operation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced warehouse and logistics leader who has successfully helped businesses navigate periods of growth and transformation.

You could be operating within food manufacturing, wholesale/foodservice, retail distribution or a 3PL environment, but you’ll be able to demonstrate tangible examples of where you’ve delivered change, increased capability and improved performance.

You’ll likely bring:

• Significant leadership experience across warehouse, logistics and transport operations.
• Experience supporting substantial business growth, site expansion or capacity increases.
• A track record of delivering systems implementation, upgrades or operational technology improvements.
• The ability to make difficult decisions and take ownership of outcomes.
• A hands-on leadership style with the credibility to engage teams at every level.
• Strong people development skills and a passion for building capability within teams.
• The confidence to challenge existing thinking and influence senior stakeholders.
