Job summary

Lords Builders Merchants Sutton is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to help keep the yard moving, pick loads, load/unload vehicles and support local deliveries. You will contribute to a busy, close-knit team where safety and service matter every day.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift and maintaining safety procedures.
• Full, clean UK driving license and proximity to Sutton.
• Experience in a builders' merchant environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Picking loads and loading/unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised, with strong stock rotation and presentation standards.
• Carrying out daily checks and reporting defects on plant and machinery.
• Reporting any health & safety concerns promptly.
• Making local deliveries in a 3.5t vehicle when required.
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day operations.
