Job summary

BSS, part of Travis Perkins plc., is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Assistant to balance road duties with active warehouse work. You will load, deliver to various sites, and support the branch team in order picking and trade counters.

Your role is customer-facing and safety-focused, with opportunities for development within the Travis Perkins Group. You should hold a clean driving licence and CPC qualification, with experience in multi-drop deliveries and a flexible, team-oriented approach to

Qualifications

Must hold a clean driving licence.
Must hold a valid CPC qualification.
Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.
Adaptable and able to switch between driving and warehouse duties quickly.
Organised and able to ensure accurate order picking and safe deliveries.
Strong safety mindset and commitment to wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Load vehicle and deliver essential goods to various sites, ensuring excellent service.
Unload supplier deliveries and pick orders in the branch warehouse.
Assist at the trade counter and support fellow team members as needed.
Represent BSS professionally on-site and in-branch as the face of the business.
Maintain safety standards and ensure vehicle and warehouse tasks are performed safely.
