Job summary

Years is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Cleaner in Nottingham to keep the site clean, safe, and fully stocked from the first shift onward. You will perform daily safety checks, cleaning duties across key areas, and report to the Operations Manager while collaborating with the Yard Hygiene Operative and dayshift teams.

You will ensure the warehouse runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, managing supplies, and promptly addressing hazards.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using warehouse cleaning equipment or keen to learn.
• Sharp eye for spotting hazards and reporting quickly.
• Solid understanding of manual handling and safe lifting practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent—someone the team can count on.
• Takes pride in keeping a clean, well-organised site.
• Practical and hands-on, with the confidence to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Walk the site to check the warehouse is clear and safe to operate; check cleaning supplies and PPE are stocked.
• Remove rubbish as it builds up and clean the warehouse floor and around the pallet wrap machine.
• Clean the defrost area, tidy the cleaning corridor, and restock supplies.
• Empty warehouse bins, mop spills, and stock detergents and rinse aid.
• Lend a hand with yard tasks if time permits.
