Job summary

Whitworths Limited is seeking a Hygiene Operative to help keep our Irthlingborough site clean, safe and ready to deliver every day. This hands-on role focuses on consistent standards across factories, warehouses, offices and outdoor areas to support customers and auditors.

You’ll complete daily, weekly and periodic cleaning, assist with reactive tasks, manage site waste and laundry, keep hygiene records, and follow food safety and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Organised and able to complete tasks to schedule.

• Committed to safe working and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Completing scheduled daily, weekly and periodic cleaning across the site.
• Supporting with reactive cleaning when extra help is needed.
• Collecting, segregating site waste.
• Managing daily laundry requirements and litter-picking duties.
• Completing hygiene records accurately and on time.
• Following all food safety, personal hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Supporting customer visits and external audits.
• Working closely with colleagues across Hygiene, Operations and Supply Chain to keep things running smoothly.
