The business boasts an impressive UK customer portfolio spanning Retail, E-Commerce, Fashion, and FMCG sectors.

The Role

The Warehouse General Manager will lead all activities at a key UK DC in Bradford, operating within a Multi-User, Open & Closed Book, 750,000+ sq. ft. site.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the UK Operations Director.
• Provide strategic leadership for all operational activities, including warehousing, distribution, strategy, continuous improvement, and projects.
• Lead and develop a high-performing site team of up to 400+ employees.
• Maintain and grow strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage the site budget exceeding £40m, achieving financial and service objectives.
• Evolve KPI strategies and standardize site operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Continuously improve operational processes for efficiency and quality.
• Support innovation through automation, robotics, and new technologies.
• Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and third-party providers for cost-effective services.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• A background in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain — Essential.
• At least 5+ years in a senior management role such as GM, Regional GM, or Operations Director — Essential.
• Proven experience in 3PL multi-user environments — Essential.
• Experience managing budgets over £40m in large DCs — Essential.
• Knowledge of semi-automation and robotics (AMRs, AGVs) — Advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams.
• Knowledge of the UK logistics and warehousing market.
• Excitement for large-scale growth challenges.
• Ability to commute to Bradford 5 days a week — Essential.
