Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safety‑centric team focused on people, service, and cost in our warehouse operations. You will drive safe, accurate, and timely receiving, storage, and loading, while mentoring associates to improve performance and uphold company standards.

You will oversee hiring, coaching, and ensuring adherence to food safety and FIFO processes; monitor metrics, plan shifts, and direct dock locations to optimize inventory flow and shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to maintain injury-free associates.
• Coach and develop warehouse associates and address performance gaps.
• Direct and supervise warehouse output and ensure efficient workflow.
• Hire warehouse personnel and manage performance and safety targets.
• Ensure accurate orders and prepare for shipping/receiving per shift.
• Monitor productivity metrics and coach to improve rates and methods.
