Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT Team Leader in Bradley Stoke. The role is a 12 weeks temp-to-perm contract with full-time hours on fixed shifts: 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am.

Experience with Forklift Trucks (FLT) is required, and you will lead the warehouse team, ensuring accuracy and safety across ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will also oversee inbound deliveries, pick/pack operations, and the safe handling of goods using MHE, while adhering to health and safety and factory

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support to the Warehouse Supervisor and act in their absence.
• Delegate tasks to the warehouse team to maintain productivity across ambient and temperature-controlled areas.
• Oversee inbound deliveries ensuring goods are checked and recorded correctly.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
• Supervise unloading/loading of deliveries using MHE safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and Factory procedures.

The rate of pay is £14.68 - £15.68 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm
• 6pm to 6am

Please note in this postion you will be using Forklift Trucks so you will need to have FLT experience.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse/FLT Team Leader your duties include:

• Providing leadership support to the Warehouse Supervisor and assuming responsibility in their absence.
• Effectively delegate tasks to the warehouse team, ensuring productivity within a fast-paced environment across both ambient and temperature-controlled areas.
• Overseeing and monitoring the accurate receipt of inbound material deliveries, ensuring all goods are checked and recorded correctly.
• Ensuring customer orders are picked, completed, and prepared accurately prior to dispatch.
• Supervising the safe and efficient unloading and loading of deliveries using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Ensuring all warehouse operations are carried out in compliance with Health & Safety, Technical, and Factory procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse processes.
