DHL Supply Chain in Crewe is seeking a Warehouse Operative with FLT experience to support our fulfilment operation. You will work on a permanent full-time contract, with a pay rate of £24,784.50 per year, rising to £27,124.50 after training.

Key duties include safe stock checks, packing, loading vehicles, operating reach trucks and FLTs, and participating in in-house training. You will handle tobacco products as part of the role, with a flexible finish time during busy periods and on-site

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of manual handling procedures.
• Experience preparing and distributing high-volume orders.
• Excellent organisational skills and workload management.
• MLOP and PPT experience is desirable.
• Fork lift truck experience is essential.

Aufgaben

• Safely, efficiently, and accurately carry out warehouse tasks to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Collate and check stock for trade and transfer, loading vehicles accurately and in line with procedures.
• Pack mixed cases for trade customers using brand recognition and brand pack codes, ensuring cases are packed neatly and in the correct configuration.
• Operate all truck electrics, PPT, pedestrian PPT, reach trucks, and counterbalance FLTs.
• Participate in in-house training as required.
• This role includes handling tobacco products.

Warehouse Operative - with FLT experience

Pay Rate: £24,784.50 per annum (Increasing to £27,124.50 after training)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Friday (Must be flexible regarding finish times, as will be required to adjust finish times during busy periods)

Location: Crewe (CW1 6GH)

This Role Would Suit Candidates Who Have Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative within a logistics or similar environment.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of all manual handling procedures.
• Experience preparing and distributing high-volume orders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.
• Experience of using Fork Lift Trucks (Essential).
• MLOP and PPT experience (highly desirable).
• MUST be flexible to finish later during busy periods (ESSENTIAL).
