GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for the Sainsbury's contract in Emerald Park, Bristol. You will lead a large operational team on a permanent night shift (21:30–06:00), coaching staff to achieve KPIs and maintain a strong work ethic.

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team on our Sainsbury's contract in Emerald Park, Bristol. As a First Line Manageryou will be responsible fo r managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 from 7 night shift pattern of 21:30 to 06:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £36,892.20 per annum plus a shift premium of £4,700.04 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

What you'll do on a typical day:

• To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
• Management of the warehouse training requirement and function

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
