Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for the Sainsbury’s contract in Emerald Park, Bristol. You will lead a large operational team, coaching and engaging staff to build a strong team culture with a high work ethic.

The role is full-time, permanent, with a 21:30–06:00 night shift from 5 days out of 7. Salary up to £36,892.20 plus a £4,700.04 shift premium and 33 days leave. Benefits include dental, pension, 24/7 GP, life assurance, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement projects while demonstrating excellent planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on on-site engagement.

Responsibilities

• To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs.
• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance.
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation.
• Management of the warehouse training requirement and function.

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team on our Sainsbury’s contract in Emerald Park, Bristol. As a First Line Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 from 7 night shift pattern of 21:30 to 06:00.
