DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Support the shop floor team to deliver results following set standards.
• Coordinate and support the team to follow safety standards and help reduce or eliminate health and safety risks.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Experience in people management within a warehouse environment is essential, ideally within FMCG.
• Automation knowledge is desirable but not essential.
• Proficiency with computers and practical knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train direct reports.
