Pay Rate: £29,500 - £32,000

Grade: RCS N

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 Rotational 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

What does the role entail?

• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• To supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while maintaining standards of excellence.
• To track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring records are maintained at an optimal level.

What do we need from you?

• Previous practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Experience in the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Computer literacy with practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise, and train direct reports.

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be highly regarded.
