Job Description

Warehouse & Facilities Manager

Introduction:

We are seeking a hands-on, highly organised Warehouse & Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and premises. As a key member of our event production team, you’ll ensure the efficient storage, maintenance, and dispatch of equipment and materials for a wide range of live and experiential events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-driven, and has a strong understanding of logistics, inventory, and facilities management.

The Company:

21CC Group is at the forefront of delivering world-class technical production and AV services for events of all sizes. We specialise in providing cutting-edge solutions, including sound, lighting, staging, and special effects, fireworks, SFX and more, creating unforgettable live experiences for our clients. Our passion for innovation and customer satisfaction ensures we are a trusted partner in delivering events across the country.

Role Overview:

The Warehouse & Facilities Manager plays a critical role in supporting the smooth delivery of events by overseeing warehouse operations and facility maintenance. This role ensures that all event equipment is stored, maintained, and dispatched efficiently, safely, and accurately. From managing equipment logistics to maintaining a clean, functional workspace, the Warehouse & Facilities Manager is the backbone of operational readiness. Working closely with production, operations, and logistics teams, this person is responsible for creating a streamlined, well-organised environment that allows event teams to execute flawless productions on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, organising, storing, and dispatching event production equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained, cleaned, tested, and ready for deployment.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system with real-time tracking.
  • Manage packing lists and load plans to ensure accurate and timely delivery to event sites.
  • Coordinate logistics for load-in/load-out of trucks and manage shipping/receiving schedules.

Facilities Management

  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the warehouse and office facilities.
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs for the building, tools, vehicles, and specialised equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce proper safety procedures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and task lists, ensuring deadlines are met.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage warehouse staff, freelance crew, and casual labour during busy periods.
  • Provide training on proper handling, storage, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Asset Management:

  • Track usage and condition of assets and identify when replacements or repairs are needed.
  • Assist in planning capital expenditures for tools, equipment, and facility upgrades.

Your Expertise:

  • 3–5 years of warehouse, logistics, or facilities management experience—preferably in live events, AV production, or related industries.
  • Experience managing a team and working in deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory software, asset tracking, and general warehouse best practices.
  • Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot or oversee minor equipment repairs.
  • Familiarity with rigging, staging, lighting, audio, or video equipment is a strong plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Able to lift and move heavy equipment, work at heights, and operate standard warehouse tools safely.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a dependable, self-motivated leader with a strong background in warehouse and facilities management—particularly in environments where equipment must be event-ready and treated as mission-critical. You are just as comfortable working on the warehouse floor as you are overseeing scheduling, safety protocols, and logistics planning. You take pride in a clean, organised workspace and thrive on getting things done efficiently and correctly. A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you're the kind of person who can anticipate needs, prevent problems before they arise, and take ownership of your department’s success.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of health and safety in particular warehouse safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical specs and create or interpret load plans.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new warehouse/inventory systems.

Employee Benefits:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position working primarily in 21CC Group with support across our other associated companies.
  • Flexible working hours with core hours from 10 am – 4 pm each working day.
  • 31 days of holiday per year (including bank holidays) – 5 allocated by the company.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Access to ongoing training, development opportunities, and industry events.
  • Weekend and evening work will be required during events.

Salary:

  • £32k - £36k based on experience and a 40-hour working week.
  • Annual salary reviews.

Applications for this role must be submitted no later than 12pm Monday 16th June.
