Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting an experienced Warehouse & Despatch Manager to lead its Liverpool operations for a global manufacturing business. You will manage day-to-day warehouse and despatch, lead a team of around 50, ensure safety, regulatory compliance and on-time delivery across UK and international shipments.

You will drive improvements via KPI analysis, work with internal and external partners, and contribute to WMS optimization.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing hazardous goods logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience coordinating international freight, including air and sea shipments.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and environmental compliance.

Are you an experienced Warehouse & Despatch Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a globally recognised manufacturing business, is seeking a driven and strategic logistics professional to lead its warehouse and despatch operations at its Liverpool facility.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation where you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across UK and international operations while leading a high-performing warehouse function.

The Role

Reporting into the wider logistics function, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the warehouse and despatch department. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure products are delivered on time, in full and in line with all regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Significant experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing hazardous goods logistics
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience coordinating international freight, including air and sea shipments
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety and environmental compliance
• Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on operationally
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience is desirable
