Job summary

Magna Specialist Confectioners Ltd. in Telford requires an experienced Counterbalance driver to move product around the warehouse and support stock transfers. You will be responsible for maintaining safety, hygiene and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands a proven track record with a counterbalance licence, good timekeeping, and effective team communication. Regular day shifts are available with additional night-shift allowances and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance and move product around the warehouse.

• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested.

Magna are a leading specialist confectioner of Hollow and Shell-moulding chocolate products, based in Telford and have a firm belief that everything we do is carried out by a team. We wouldn't be half as successful without our Counterbalance drivers.

Responsibilities

• You will primarily be operating a Counterbalance and will be moving Product around the warehouse.
• Transferring stock to different areas and taking responsibility of quality goods. Adhering to safe practices of yourself and surroundings.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained.
• Performing equipment checks and escalate if any issues.
• Provide help and assistance to other departments as and when required.
• Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor or Team Leader.

Requirements

• Previous experience in counterbalance operation and an accredited Licence are essential.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
• Evidence of a solid work history, who have excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Day shifts: Mon - Wed, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
• Day shifts: Thur - Sat, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
• Night shift: Sun - Tues, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.
• Night shift: Wed - Fri, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.
• Weekly paid, rate of pay is £13.31 per hour days plus 13.64% shift allowance for nights.
