Job summary

Magna Specialist Confectioners Limited in Telford is seeking reliable factory workers to join our confectionery production team. The role involves feeding chocolate moulds into baskets, loading the spinner wheel, and moving finished goods to the cooling tunnel.

You will work a rotating shift pattern with day and night options; day shift pay £12.71 per hour, plus night uplift. No prior experience is required as training is provided, but you must be physically capable of handling 20 kg moulds and

• Wear company uniform and correct PPE as appropriate.
• Ensure clean as you go and good housekeeping; comply with safety procedures.

Magna are a leading specialist confectioner of Hollow and Shell-moulding chocolate products, based in Telford and have a firm belief that everything we do is carried out by a team. • Support team leaders by performing a range of repetitive tasks of moving goods.

Requirements

• This is a physically demanding position, the ability to carry heavy 20kg moulds continuously is necessary.
• Rights to work in the UK, without any restrictions.
• Good hand & eye co-ordination and able to work quickly to maintain targets.
• Reliability is key to this role, excellent attendance and punctuality is a necessity.
• Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance, and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and company regulations is maintained.
• Wear company uniform as specified and correct PPE as appropriate to task and training.
• Ensure compliance of clean as you go/ good housekeeping.
• Ensure all Health & Safety Procedures are adhered to by keeping work areas and factory floor clean and free from hazards.
• Have knowledge of the relevant safety and quality standards and procedures.
• Have good communication skills to interact with fellow team members and be able to work as part of a team.
• No experience is necessary as sufficient training will be provided.
• Day shift pay £12.71 per hour: and 13.64% for night workers.
• Day shift: Mon - Wed, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
• Day shift: Thur - Sat, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
• Night shift: Sun - Tues, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.
• Night shift: Wed - Fri, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.

The selection process

If you pass our initial screening process, you'll be invited to complete a series of tests designed to assess how you approach and solve unfamiliar challenges. Successful candidates will then move on to a series of interviews to further explore their skills and fit for the role.
