Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Licence to join our Kettering site. You will accurately receive goods into the warehouse and despatch them to external parties, adhering to the highest health and safety standards.

The role requires operating a counterbalance FLT/PPT, using the WMS, laptop and scanners, and working 4 on/off nights from 18:00 to 06:00. 40.25 hours per week, with onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB/ITSARR/AITT).
• Experience operating counterbalance FLT/PPT in a warehouse.
• Previous warehouse experience; food/beverage sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers using counterbalance FLT/PPT.
• Use WMS, laptop and hand scanners for transactions.
• Receive pallets and scan into the warehouse accurately.
• Pick orders for despatch and manage stock rotation.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Keep the warehouse clean with a 'clean as you go' policy.
• Assist on loading bay as required by supervisor/manager.
• Respond to reasonable requests from supervisor/manager.

Warehouse Operative with FLT Counterbalance Licence

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Licence to join our team providing a first class service in Kettering. The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate receipt of customer goods in to the warehouse, and timely despatch of customer goods from the warehouse to external parties. The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times.

***For your application to be considered, you must hold a current Counterbalance Forklift Licence***

The Details:

• Salary: £32,287.50 Per Annum, £15.42 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Nights
• Hours: 18:00-06:00
• Lenght of Shift: 12 Hours
• Hours Per Week:40.25
• Location: Kettering

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading/unloading trailers using counterbalance FLT/PPT
• Using internal WMS system, laptop and hand scanners
• Taking receipt of pallets from the production lines and accurately scanning in to the warehouse
• Picking orders ready for despatch
• Stock rotation and consolidation
• Ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest of standards, working in partnership direct with the customer
• Adhering to Warehouse/Plant H&S rules at all time
• Operating a ‘clean as you go’ policy to ensure the warehouse is free of excess debris, pests etc.
• Assisting on the loading bay (as and when required)
• Adhering to Health and Safety rules at all times
• Carrying out any other reasonable request made by Supervisor/Manager

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Experience operating a counterbalance FLT/PPT
• An in-date, accredited FLT license (RTITB, ITSARR, AITT etc.)
• Previous warehouse experience (ideally within the food and/or beverage industry, but not essential)

• Good eye for detail
• Strong communication skills, be a team player

• Good organisational and time management skills
