Warehouse Coordinator & Supervisor - Temp to Perm

Job summary

A leading supplier in the construction industry is looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator in Northampton. This is a temporary role initially for 6 months, with a view to becoming permanent. Responsibilities include batching and delivering windows, quality control, and stock management. The ideal candidate should be proactive and have experience in a fast-paced warehouse. Knowledge of uPVC products and IT skills are advantageous. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5pm and Friday from 7am to 1pm.

Qualifications

• Fork Lift Truck Licence preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of the uPVC windows and doors is beneficial.
• Proficient in IT systems and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and batch windows into plots for delivery.
• Deliver windows and doors to site on plot lot stillages.
• Report data into spreadsheet.
• Conduct quality control and monitoring.
• Assist with audits and stock takes.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Manage stock rotation.
• Load fitters with frame/glass.

Skills

Fork Lift Truck Licence

Knowledge of uPVC windows and doors

Good knowledge of IT systems/computer skills
