Job summary

A well-established leading signage and display company. Cardiff-based warehouse operative/coordinator role to support busy production and logistics teams.

Key duties include goods-in/out, dispatch, inventory accuracy, and coordinating deliveries with drivers and suppliers. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail required. Permanent, full-time position with a £27,000–£30,000 salary and a driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stock-control role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using warehouse management or stock-control systems is desirable.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
• A flexible, hands-on approach to work.
• Full driving licence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
• Manage goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Ensure stock is stored safely, correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers, couriers and suppliers.
• Prepare shipping and warehouse documentation.
• Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stocktakes.
• Monitor warehouse stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed on time.
• Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Identify and support improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency.
