Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning team. You will be responsible for general cleaning, tidying of all areas including washrooms and canteens, and managing waste disposal using appropriate equipment and products.

Training will be provided and safety policies must be followed. The role operates on a 7am–7pm shift, 4 on/4 off, with permanent contracts and 12 hours per day (including a 1 hour break).

Qualifications

• No formal experience required as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to follow health & safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment and products.
• Manage waste disposal and respond to client call-outs as required.
