Job summary

EMERGE 3Rs is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Greater Manchester to pick/pack orders, receive and store deliveries, and monitor stock with the GLADYS system. You will support volunteers and corporate groups, deliver friendly customer service, and maintain high safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week. Training will be provided, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and safe handling of loads up to 25kg.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
• Strong IT and numeracy skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and lift up to 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, organising and storing deliveries safely.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Supporting volunteers and corporate groups with guidance and practical training.
• Providing a welcoming, helpful experience for customers, volunteers and visitors.
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and health and safety.
• Completing operational records and complying with policies.
